STRIKE™ products are used for pre-plant soil pest management and disease control. Commonly, fumigation takes place two to five weeks prior to planting. In crop production areas with a winter freeze, soil fumigation can be conducted in the fall prior to a spring planting.  Fumigation with Strike formulations allow plant roots to develop in soil with reduced pest populations, resulting in healthier root systems, stronger early-season plant growth, longer harvest windows, and better utilization of water and nutrients.

 Historically, farmers have relied on soil fumigation for the success of their crops. Strike fumigants do not “sterilize” the soil. Populations of beneficial organisms often increase and thrive, while still suppressing the damaging pathogens that could negatively impact crop yield.
